Killer-works, in conjunction with Crypt Club Productions Inc., is looking for the best micro-short horror film or horror film trailer for our

Style: Live action, 2D or 3D animation, CGI, stop motion, Flash, drama, comedy, musical, etc...Whatever style you like as long as it’s dark and disturbing.
Duration: Eligible Films and Trailers must be between 30 seconds and 3 minutes long. Credits for Trailers are limited to a single title card at the end. Credits for narrative Films are limited to 10% of the Film’s total duration.
Production Date: Films can be produced at any time.
Minimum Age: Filmmakers must be 18 years of age and older (or have reached the age of majority in your region).
Country & Language: This is a world-wide competition. Films can be from any country and in any language. However, if the film’s language is not English then (English) subtitles are required.
Source Material: Film trailers may be based on an existing1 or fictitious horror film.
Copyright: Films must be submitted by the copyright holder and be cleared for commercial use*, including all underlying rights to music, images, story, etc.
Submission: A signed, completed submission release form must accompany each submitted entry.
Entry Use: Filmmakers consent to their entries being available for screening and promotional use by Killer-works.com and Crypt Club Productions Inc.

Tuesday September 2, 2008. Films must reach Killer-works by end of day to be considered. No matter how much you may beg, grovel, or plead...late entries will not be accepted. Save it for our next contest.

Send 1 signed & completed submission release form and 2 DVD copies of your film (Region 0 or 1, NTSC). Include on disc label: Title, Duration, Production Company, Director’s Name, Country of Origin, Copyright Date & Notice.

Gore is not a problem but points are given for creativity and storytelling ability.
Jury will consist of three experienced film & television professionals:
- Miguel Gallego – award winning filmmaker and director, president of Crypt Club Productions Inc.
- Brigitte Rabazo – editor, check out her stellar credits at IMDB.com
- Jill Cooper – production designer for tv/film/theatre, and Founder of Killer-works.com.
Contest winners will be announced in October 2008.
Winning entries will be featured on Killer-works.com.
Selected entries may receive a non-exclusive distribution deal2 with Crypt Club Productions Inc., and appear on a future edition of AAAAAH!! Indie Horror Hits.
